Sometimes you just need a good chocolate chip cookie. And sometimes, maybe, you would bake anything just to use your new mixer. Two thumbs up, by the way, on my latest purchase. I love that I can mix a batch of royal icing for ten minutes...and walk away.
For this cookie, I used a basic chocolate cookie recipe but added toasted pecans. A 1/4 cup oatmeal is a nice addition, too.
btw: I have no talent whatsoever for photography, so please excuse the amateur pictures in every post...
