A New Addition

Okay.  It's time to get serious about this baking thing.  Uncle Sam finally processed my tax return, so at midnight last night I made the plunge and ordered my "unofficial" sous chef.... a KitchenAid Artisan Stand Mixer! 

Isn't she beautiful?  This baby will save me hours of manual labor.  Not to mention add a few years to my life from sheer excitement.  The best part is, I grabbed it online from Williams Sonoma at a phenomenally low price (236.00 down from 350.00).  They're even throwing in a free glass bowl by mail-in rebate.  Score.

I may even break a bottle of champagne over her "bow" when she arrives.  Okay, maybe not.  Either way, here's to many years of easy mixing!
