About Alice

Hi, I'm Alice, author-baker-creator of ajc patisserie!

In 2003, I graduated from the Southeast Institute of Culinary Arts in St. Augustine and began working in a locally adored french restaurant, La Parisienne, for three years.  After bouncing around as an au pair for a few years after that, I was drawn back to my first love, food and restaurant life.

Baking is something I began exploring in 2011 and fell in love with creating decorated sugar cookies. Over the years I have expanded my pastry and baking knowledge and am exploring the art of 6 inch cakes and cupcakes.  This site was created to help chronical my baking wins and inevitable failures in hopes of improving a skill that has always skewed daunting.
