Double Chocolate Cupcakes

Fresh Strawberry Buttercream on Chocolate Cupcakes

I adore strawberry buttercream.  Put it on top of rich chocolate cupcakes and you're getting close to another favorite of mine, chocolate dipped strawberries.  This buttercream is one for the books, light but full of strawberry flavor from the preserves and not at all greasy.  I topped these with a royal icing decoration in lieu of gum paste so they would be super easy and fun to eat. ♡
