I made these cookies

Just because I felt like it.

I have been slacking in the cookie-making department lately.  The way I see it, my attention has been devoted to sugar cookies and royal icing for over a year now.  And that's about 11 months longer than I thought I would last.  (Short attention syndrome)

So I was bored and hungry one night (baaad combination) and decided to get back on the cookie train.  These sea-themed cookie cutters have always been some of my favorites and were the inspiration to turn the mixer on again.

Under the Sea Cookies

We’ve had nothing but rainy weather this week (good thing I didn’t have beach plans for my Spring Break), so its been a perfect opportunity to keep messing with this cookie thing.  I had a friend come over to help me with these, which made the day of scrubbing out pastry bags and mixing royal icing colors go so much faster.  She chose a theme of Lobsters, Starfish, Seahorses, and Fish, and we shared the fun part….decorating.  So without further adieu…
